FLAT STANLEY - GRADE 3

During Library Period, we are listening to Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown. The children have created their own Flat Stanleys and have been asked to send him to someone for a brief visit. Hopefully, Flat Stanley will come back from many interesting places with adventures to share. We will be tracking the travels of Grade 3 Flat Stanleys on a map in the Library - come check it out!

COMMUNITY HELPERS - FULL DAY KINDERGARTEN

In conjunction with Mrs. Chalifour's unit on Community Helpers, we will be reading stories about different people important to our community. Also, the children have been asked to have their picture taken with their favorite community helper. When they bring their picture in to share, it will be displayed in the library.

St. Francis School Library sponsors a Scholastic Book Fair twice each year. In addition to creating excitement about books and reading, the purpose of the Book Fair is to raise funds for the Library to purchase new books and to support the licensing agreement for library automation.

The Fall Book Fair will be held on May 14 and 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional family hours will be held on May 14 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Volunteer help is needed during the Fair! Watch the Tuesday envelope for more information.
