The students will not be going outside for recess if the temperature, including the windchill, falls below 20 degrees.  The following rules apply for outdoor activities in the winter.

 1.  The field is the ONLY area where children may play in the snow.  The anow areas near the flagpole and the school are off limits.

2.  There will be no pushing, shoving, tackling or wrestling.

3.  The light pole is the boundary marker for playing in the field.

4.  Students will NOT jump off a snow bank.

5.  Students will need to wear snowpants and boots if they wish to play in the snow or go off the parking lot area.

6.  Students not wearing boots must stand in a dry area designated by the teachers on duty.
