Weather Cancellation & Delays Policy |

1) In the event of a storm, please listen to local radio stations (like 95.7 WZID) or WMUR TV (Channel 9) for a listing of school closings and delays. We follow the Litchfield School District procedures for cancellations and delays.
2) If school is canceled, so are the extended day programs. We have no child care program for canceled school days.
3) If school is delayed, all school programs are also delayed. For example, if Litchfield calls a 90 minute delayed-opening, then children should arrive for an 9:30 AM start. Children should not arrive before supervision begins at 8:50 If a child takes the school bus, he or she should be at the designated bus stop 90 minutes later than their regular pick-up time.
4) In the event of any delayed opening, the morning kindergarten class will be canceled.
5) If inclement weather hits during the school day or at dismissal time, the after school program will close as soon as possible. It is important for parents to make every attempt to arrive as soon as possible to pick up their child to ensure the safety of the child as well as that of our after school staff. If a parent is in doubt about whether the after school program is running or not, please call the school to confirm.
