Box Tops and Sox Tops and Labels! Oh, my!
We've been collecting Box Tops and Campbell's labels since 2002. This year we have added Hood Sox Tops. These are all free programs that help us keep costs down and activities abundant. Last year we earned $511 with Box Tops which ranks us 123 out of 230 schools participating in our state! Way to go! We've also earned over 22,000 Campbell's points over the past several years that the teachers have used to purchase such products as educational videos about ancient Greece and Egypt, an ever important drying rack for Kindergartens glorious art work and other supplies to keep things running smoothly.  Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products with the original Box Tops program. Box Tops are worth 10¢ each when we send them to General Mills. Campbell's Labels for Education Program has made an important change in their program. They are NO LONGER accepting the face labels. They are only accepting UPC symbols from most products and lids from all V8 products. Most labels are worth 1 point, however, there are more than 150 products with UPC's/lids worth 5 points. Each Sox Top is worth 5¢ to St. Francis. When the Sox Tops are mailed in, the school with the greatest number of Sox Tops per student wins a visit from one of the World Champion Red Sox! Our deadline is October 31. The fundraiser begins again in April of 2008 for the new season.
Each month all of the UPC's, lids, box tops and Sox Tops are counted to determine which class has brought in the most. The winning class will then earn fun prizes. Last month our winner was First Grade with over 400! They won Box Tops Superstar Fruit Roll ups. You can check out this fun product at www.myfruitrollup.com. Keep those UPCs, lids and Tops coming!!! More Shopping with Shop With Scrip
Great Lakes Scrip Center is proud to launch ShopWithScrip.com, a new, free web service to help our scrip clients manage their scrip programs. ShopWithScrip lets scrip-using families place their orders online, anytime day or night, . Then, scrip program volunteers can aggregate family orders, and migrate them effortlessly to Great Lakes Scrip Center with no additional keystrokes. Visit www.shopwithscrip.com for more details. Click on "Change Profile/Password". You'll notice fields have been added to indicate Student Name and Classroom/Group. Families can update their profiles with this information (packing slips will now display this information to help route scrip deliveries).
