A Year in the Life of a St. Francis Student
A Virtuous Summer
During Summer, students practice what they learned during the school year: virtue!
After Labor Day, students return to school excited and ready for the best year yet! One of the highlights is our first outdoor procession!
Feast of St. Francis
October brings the much anticipated feast day of our patron, St. Francis of Assisi.
Also in October, is our Walkathon where students run, laugh, dance, and walk to raise money for our school.
All Saints Day
On the day after Halloween, students dress up as their favorite saint. We have a festival and a parade in their honor!
Catholic schools week
In November, we celebrate our catholic school with a community celebration, fun lunch, academic games, service to our veterans, an open house and a family night.
Children dress up in their “Sunday best” to sing Christmas carols as they act out the story of the birth of Jesus. A time honored tradition of innocence and prayer.
Each year, we recognize the incredible families that make up our school.
Whether it is in academics or play, our students learn to love the beauty of God’s creation.
Each year, we recognize our wonderful teachers.
Throughout the year, our one-of-a-kind Natural Science class affords opportunities for enrichment.
May Crowning & Sheep Shearing
In May, students honor Our Blessed Mother as Queen of Heaven and Earth and our sheep celebrate with a haircut!
There are lots of traditions at the end of the year, Field Day is one of our favorites!
It is with mixed emotion that we bid our sixth graders adieu, many of our graduates have spent the last nine years with us!
Golf Tournament & Auction
After school lets out, we get together with Father Jeff to play a round of golf!
